About

Wendy Richmond is a photographer and visual archivist whose work explores urban memory, disappearing spaces, architecture, monument, and transformation through long-form photographic collections developed over decades.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, I spent years photographing Brooklyn, cemeteries, architecture, abandoned spaces, and changing neighborhoods throughout New York.

After remaining dormant for more than thirty years, the archive is finally being preserved, digitized, exhibited, and shared publicly once again. With some images have never been shared publicly.
